The World of Lumea
exists in a time and place different than our own. A once thriving world filled with many cultures, creatures, and forms of magic; for the past decade and a half the world’s skies have been barren. There is no day, and merely a starless and moonless night that goes on forever. Few crops grow and the world is in a state of scarcity as many nations slowly fade from existence altogether. The powerful spirits that once guided the world seem to have fallen silent.
The nation of Prithvi, however, still perseveres against the consuming darkness. Previously a cultural hub, the denizens of the nation struggle as the Prithvian royal family grows more hard-hearted with the passing days.
However, near Prithvi’s southern end in a desolate wood a young Buhund (farm dog) named Lola lives in the company of a poor carpenter. Merely two years of age, she has never seen the sun or the moon. Unbeknownst to her, the path that lies before her may lead straight to them…
